We have a reputation for maintaining high collection rates by timely engagement with problem tenants. We also have a track record of good recovery of historic debts on problem schemes which we have taken over.
Rent & service charge management is provided as part of our property management services, but it can also be provided as a standalone service, e.g. where a client undertakes property management in-house but does not have the accountancy resources for full rent and service charge management.
Our accounts team, led by chartered accountants and supported by senior credit management professionals, use industry leading software packages that allow them to tailor reports to client’s business and reporting requirements. The team is responsible for rent and service charge collection, debtor enforcement, and detailed client reporting.
We also have a specialist retail accounting team with over 30 years experience on a range of centres – through both good and bad economic times. This experience is very relevant given the huge challenges faced by owners of retail schemes at present – particularly secondary retail schemes with large numbers of smaller local and national tenants and consequent issues in terms of maximising net income generation.
